The last couple of days here have seen some pretty good winds, and some decent temps, too! I actually rolled down the windows a little as I drove yesterday! March is definitely upon us...and the wind is roaring its approval. This morning, Munch firmly announced (by going to the back door and thumping it insistently) that she wanted to go outside. It's the first time she's really made a declaration like that, and I decided it was a good one to go along with. So we donned some coats (because warmer temps or not, that wind steals it all away!), and headed into our little backyard. With the way our weather's been--up and down and so easy to get sick because of it--we've stayed inside much of the time, despite the lack of snow this winter. Which means today was the first day Munch really got to practice walking on uneven terrain...namely, plain ground.
She refused to let go of my hand...
...until she got to the little sidewalk that leads from garage to back door. :)
We had a good time outside in all that wind. It feels good on the skin to have some warmer fresh air swirling around it.
By the way, that sweet little hat Munch is wearing was made by her friend K's mama, who also made one for her daughter, and for the third of our trio, Little A. So now all our kiddos match. :) Even if the hat colors are different.
