A funny story from tonight, courtesy of Daddy:
Most of you know that we have a little noise maker for the Munch's crib, to help sooth her to sleep. It plays about 5 different songs, and 5 or so different white noise sounds. Push one button, and the sound starts or stops. Push another, and the sound changes.
Tonight Daddy was putting the Munch to bed. Instead of just pushing the start button and leaving the room like I generally do, he likes to change the songs up for Munch, and will push the change button once each time he puts her to bed. So he put Munch in her bed, gave her Tigger, made sure she was comfy, all that. She started to do her usual rapid rocking from side to side--she thinks it's a great way to play at sleep time. Then Daddy pushed the change button, but instead of it switching to another song, it switched to a white noise.
Munch stopped rocking *immediately*, and looked up at Daddy with the most blatant, quizzical "What is THAT?" face that a toddler can make.
So Daddy quickly pushed the button a few more times, cycling through the white noise to reach the music again. On the first notes that came out, Munch happily resumed her rocking, and Daddy was apparently then free to go. Guess she likes her music. :)
